The Fortville Town Council is inviting residents to apply for an open position on the Fortville Police Commission. This role will be fulfilled for the remainder of 2024, with the opportunity for a three-year extension commencing in January 2025 for the selected candidate.

Candidates must be residents of Fortville, with further commission details linked here: IC 36-8-9-3.1 Interested residents should email a letter of interest to Joe Renner, at [email protected]. Candidacy submissions should be made by Sunday, September 15th, 2024. A decision will likely happen at the Town Council meeting on Monday, September 16th, 2024, at 6:30 pm.
